COO-ODPRN Post-Doctoral Fellow

The Chiefs of Ontario (COO) and ODPRN are seeking a Post-Doctoral Fellow to join a First Nations-led project addressing the opioid crisis for a 1 year, full time (1.0 FTE) position, with the possibility of renewal. The Fellow will focus on monitoring trends in prescription opioid use, understanding clinical indications and factors associated with fatal overdoses, and comparing treatment outcomes for opioid use disorder. Responsibilities include identifying research gaps, generating questions, designing studies, and developing proposals using large health databases. The Fellow will contribute to peer-reviewed publications and public reports and engage with collaborators, including government entities, service providers, data providers, community-based organizations, and individuals with lived experience.
